As part of its 50-year anniversary in 2009, Rodney Strong Vineyards in Healdsburg, Calif., will host its 20th annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasy on Saturday, February 7, from 1 to 4 p.m.
This year’s event will be adorned with splashes of gold anniversary decor and include a delicious lineup of quality chocolatiers side-by-side with some of Rodney Strong’s finest wines.
Local radio personality Ziggy the Wine Gal will emcee, and Earl Thomas will be back to provide lively rhythm and blues. Additionally, Omega Events will be on hand, giving away tickets to Rodney Strong’s 2009 summer concert series, and Jeff Mall from Zin Restaurant & Wine Bar in Healdsburg will perform chocolate cooking demonstrations.
During the event, guests will sway through the barrel room sipping wine, tasting chocolates and sharing this delectable occasion with their Valentine.

Tickets are $40 per person, and include a commemorative glass. This event always sells out, so it’s wise to make reservations well in advance, as there will be no tickets available at the door.
