Crab… Fennel… Wine… What Are You Waiting For?

Tickets are still available for the 6th annual Russian River Valley Winegrowers Crab & Fennel Fest.

The event is set for Saturday, March 7 at the Hall of Flowers on the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, Calif. A Reception and Silent Auction will kick things off at  5:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The fest offers an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, crack fresh Dungeness crab, quaff Russian River Valley wine and experience culinary fennel creations made by local chefs in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Held in conjunction with the 31st annual Wine Road Annual Barrel Tasting weekend, this event is a great way to spend the evening after a day of wine tasting.

In addition to the plethora of Russian River Valley wines, there will be a Vineyard Designated Tasting Bar where you can meet the growers and winemakers as you taste special Russian River Valley vineyard designated wines ($25 gets you three 2-oz. tastes and a Riedel glass).

Crab & Fennel Fest tickets are $55 per person and include two glasses of Russian River Valley wine. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to rrvw.org or call 707-521-2535. Tickets will not be available at the door.
