ZinFest in Lodi Is Less Than Two Months Away

    Lodi Wine Country has announcesd the 5th annual “Lodi ZinFest — Wine, Food and Fun at the Lake” on the weekend of May 15-17.

     Here’s a look at ZinFest’s featured events…

     *** Friday, May 15 — Vintners’ Grille at the Lake from 6-9 p.m. at Lodi Lake Park, 1301 W. Turner Rd., Lodi. Local vintners share a selection of Lodi’s finest wines, paired with delectable cuisine. Tickets for the dinner are $75 per person.

      *** Saturday, May 16 — ZinFest Wine Festival, 12 noon-6 p.m., also at Lodi Lake Park. The ZinFest Wine Festival will feature more than 50 wineries pouring award-winning Lodi wines, food from the region’s best restaurants, live music, plus a variety of activities throughout the day. Noted wine specialists and chefs will offer something for everyone at the ZinFest Wine & Cooking School. Festival visitors will be able to create their own Zinfandel in the “Blend Your Own Wine” tent. Wine-related arts, crafts and specialty items will be offered for sale, including locally grown artisan foods. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the gate, with food and merchandise sold separately.

      *** Sunday, May 19 — Winery Open Houses. The wineries of Lodi Wine Country will be opening their doors and allowing festival attendees to taste their complete lines of wines, experience their warm hospitality, and take part in a variety of special activities.
