'Wine Country' Is Calling from Coast to Coast

It’s time to stop talking about taking a wine-related trip and to do something about it!

All this week here on VinesseTODAY.com, we’ll be bringing you ideas on where to go and what to do in the wonderful world of wine during the coming months.

On Tuesday, we’ll tell you about a very special event in June that honors some of the rising stars of the Napa and Sonoma culinary scene.

On Wednesday, we’ll jet to the other end of the country for a unique event at a unique venue — a winery in the heart of New York City.

Thursday, we’ll share the 2009 summer concert series schedule at Chateau Ste. Michelle. If you’re planning a trip to Seattle, you owe it to yourself to head out to nearby Woodinville for one of these fabulous open-air music events.

From Washington, we head south to Temecula, just north of San Diego, for that region’s annual Balloon and Wine Festival. You can read all about that event on Friday.

Then over the weekend, we’ll have details on the Finger Lakes Wine Festival in Watkins Glen, N.Y. (Saturday), and three new winery openings (Sunday).

I hope you’ll check back with us each day this week, as we help you plan your spring and summer wine-tasting adventures.
