Star Italian Chef to Appear (and Cook) in Napa Valley

Planning an excursion to California’s North Coast wine country next month?

If so, try to attend V. Sattui Winery’s annual Harvest Ball on Saturday, September 25.

For one thing, the wines of V. Sattui – available only at the winery – are stellar. For another, the meal will be prepared by star Chef Stefano Masanti, who will be visiting from Lombardia, Italy.

The Harvest Ball is one of the most anticipated annual events in the Napa Valley and typically sells out quickly. So if you’d like to go, visit vsattui.com and make your reservations.

If a full-blown Italian feast would ruin your diet, there’s another opportunity to see Chef Masanti the evening before. On Friday, September 24, he’ll present a cooking demonstration at the Culinary Institute of America.

Either way, a few hours with a Michelin-starred chef would make a great addition to your “to do” list on a trip to Napa Valley.
