If you happen to be driving on Highway 101 in the central section of California this weekend, be brave and stop at Eberle Winery in Paso Robles.
Today and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., unafraid souls 10 and over are invited to venture through Eberle’s “haunted wine caves,” which have been transformed and “spookified” just in time for Halloween.
The underground caves encompass 16,000 square feet, so there will be ample opportunity to encounter scary surprises.
And while the exploration of the caves is recommended for those who are at least 10 years of age, there also will be plenty of fun activities for the little ones.
The cost to enter? A $5 donation that will go directly to children’s charities in San Luis Obispo County. So it’s not only a lot of fun, it’s also for a very good cause.
Eberle Winery is located at 3810 Highway 46 East, about three-and-a-half miles east of Highway 101, in Paso Robles. For further information, call 805-238-9607.
