Harvest Reports for the Holidays

The busiest travel week of 2010 is upon us, as families board planes, hop on trains or pile into family cars to join loved ones for the holidays.

If you’re lucky, you’re the one hosting the big family gathering, because that means you won’t have to deal with delayed flights, frozen tracks or anyone texting, applying makeup or shaving while attempting to stay in their lane.

Whether you’re hosting or being hosted, I hope you have a great time over the next few weeks with as little stress as possible.

It’s traditional at the end of the year to reflect on the happenings of the annum, so all this week on VinesseTODAY.com, we’ll bring you reports on the most important time of the year in the world of wine: harvest season.

With the assistance of Wine Institute, we’ve gathered harvest notes and quotes from wine regions up and down the state of California, including comments from vintners.

I hope you’ll take a brief break from your busy week to check them out each day. It’s looking like 2010 is shaping up as a stellar vintage.

Meanwhile, Happy Holidays from all of us at Vinesse!
