A Wine Lover's Paradise in Las Vegas

For one who doesn’t do a whole lot of gambling, I sure seem to visit Las Vegas quite often.

It’s all part of the job, actually. As the editor of VinesseTODAY.com as well as The Grapevine newsletter, it’s my job to keep wine lovers up to date on the latest happenings and trends in the wonderful world of wine.

And with so many celebrity chefs operating restaurants in Sin City, it would be a sin if we didn’t check them out on occasion.

Of course, the best restaurants typically have outstanding wine lists, and that’s certainly the case with Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, which is located across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Not only does the Ferraro family take its wine list seriously, it also works hard to make wine more accessible to diners and more enjoyable for its guests.

That’s the thinking behind its twice-monthly event called “Vino + Cibo.” On the second and fourth Sundays of each month, guests can attend a special food-and-wine class while noshing on delicious bite-sized food, paired with four specially-selected wines.

The cost is just $30 per person, but be advised that seating is extremely limited, and advance reservations are highly recommended.

If you’re heading to Las Vegas anytime soon, whether for business or pleasure, you owe it to yourself to take a break from the gaming tables and unwind with “Vino + Cibo” at Ferraro’s.

For reservations, call 702-364-5300, and for further information, go to: www.ferraroslasvegas.com

In a city where the odds can be long, Ferraro’s is a sure thing.
