The Rutherford Dust Society has teamed up with Expedia Cruise Ship Centers to offer a unique way to cruise to Alaska while keeping warm with a glass of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon.
The cruise will be led by wine educator Ray Johnson, and will feature some of the top wineries in Rutherford, the historic heart of the Napa Valley.
The Rutherford Dust Wine Cruise is scheduled to leave from Seattle on June 11 for a seven-day Alaska Wine Education Cruise, visiting the ports of Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, and Victoria, B.C. On board, guests will find four wine celebrities:
* Ray Johnson – Director of the Sonoma State University Wine Business Institute
* Todd Graff – Winemaker, Frank Family Vineyards
* Regina Weinstein – Partner, Honig Vineyard and Winery
* Rita Pirkl – Director, Peju Province Winery
Cruisers will enjoy a welcome-aboard reception, five wine tasting/educational seminars, a winemaker dinner in Sabatini’s Restaurant, and a flight of three wines hand-picked by the wineries with dinner each night.
