The music group Train hopes to do for wine what Jimmy Buffett has done for margaritas.
The group—which consists of Scott Underwood, Patrick Monahan and Jimmy Stafford—recently released a Petite Sirah wine dubbed “Drops of Jupiter.”
It’s not meant as a big money-making venture. In fact, the group says it will donate one-third of profits to San Francisco’s Family House, which provides temporary housing to families with sick children.
Says guitarist Stafford: “We’re just trying to create this little vibe, where people can come to our shows and bring a picnic basket and a bottle of wine.”
