Train Is Making Tracks in the Wine World

corkscrew The music group Train hopes to do for wine what Jimmy Buffett has done for margaritas.

The group—which consists of Scott Underwood, Patrick Monahan and Jimmy Stafford—recently released a Petite Sirah wine dubbed “Drops of Jupiter.”

It’s not meant as a big money-making venture. In fact, the group says it will donate one-third of profits to San Francisco’s Family House, which provides temporary housing to families with sick children.

Says guitarist Stafford: “We’re just trying to create this little vibe, where people can come to our shows and bring a picnic basket and a bottle of wine.”
