Where No Environmental Detail Is Too Small

J. Lohr is a California winery that takes its stewardship of the land seriously.

From operating the largest solar photovoltaic tracking array of any winery in North America, to using soy-based inks in its printing, packaging and labels, the winery’s practices encompass both big ideas and small details.

Thanks to its solar program, composting, water conservation, reduced chemical use and other initiatives, J. Lohr has earned the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing designation, a rigorous third-party certification of environmental stewardship, conservation and socially equitable business standards determined by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.
