I was just thinking that we should archive today’s post under “Buzz Lightyear” instead of “Wine Buzz,” but we don’t have that archive category. (How about that? I’m digressing before even starting the blog…)
They call Disneyland the “the happiest place on earth,” but I think its sister park, Disney California Adventure, will be just a little bit happier during the month of April.
In her blog, Rachel Bshero, the park’s Food & Beverage Marketing Communications Coordinator, posted this exciting news for wine lovers: “Attention foodies! I’m excited to tell you that Disney California Adventure park will soon be filled with even more fabulous food and an awakening of the senses when the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival begins April 1.”
Continued Ms. Bshero: “This month-long festival, taking place during weekends in April, will celebrate some of the best of delicious California cuisine. A distinguishing feature will be new Festival Marketplaces, where guests can sip and savor delicious flavors from throughout the state of California.
“The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will also include culinary demonstrations, appearances by celebrity chefs and informative seminars.
“We’ll have more information to share soon, including how you can reserve your seat at the premium experiences taking place during the festival. Mark your calendar now for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival…”
By the way, you don’t have to wait until April to enjoy a memorable wine experience at Disney California Adventure. In the Pacific Wharf area of the park, the Mendocino Terrace offers wine by the glass as well as wine flights and appetizers, including a selection of cheeses and Italian cold cuts.
