Switzerland is known for many things, among them exquisite watches, luscious chocolate, 450 varieties of cheese, extremely private banks and magnificent mountain ranges.
The pride of Switzerland is Zurich, which has been described as having the best quality of life among all big cities of the world. It’s also Europe’s wealthiest city, and a center of design — as the accompanying photo demonstrates.
If you find your wine collection growing and are in need of more storage space, you could build or buy traditional wooden wine racks… or you could get creative, and emulate this wine display.
We encountered it at the Gnusserei Restaurant and Gourmetladen in Zurich. It actually can hold many more bottles than are shown in this picture, but if you want to showcase a handful of special bottles, this is one way to do it.
