Plan Your November Wine Trip to Napa Valley

winepicNovember is just around the corner, and the turning of the calendar page brings with it several enticing wine-related events in the Napa Valley.

Let’s take a look at two of them today, and two more tomorrow…

  • Louis M. Martini Winery 2013 Lot No. 1 Event

A special wine calls for a special introduction, and the fabled Louis M. Martini Winery will be providing just that on Saturday, November 5.

What’s being described as “a luxury blend from premier Napa Valley vineyard blocks,” the wine will be poured for 30 fortunate attendees. Also featured will be a vertical tasting of the 2011, 2010 and 2009 vintages of Lot No. 1, accompanied by light appetizers.

There will be two seatings, the first from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the second from 2-4 p.m.

You can learn more about this event here.

  • Napa Valley Film Festival Movie Mogul Dinner

Held at the acclaimed Meadowood Napa Valley Resort, this is considered the signature event of the 16th annual Napa Valley Film Festival. It’s the place to see and be seen, as it attracts festival supporters, film industry participants and many of Napa Valley’s top winemakers.

Read more about the dinner and get details about the full festival here.

Tomorrow: Two more Napa Valley November events for your consideration.

  1. Great post! I’ve enjoyed looking back on your older posts as well. I really like your take on wine. We live in Napa Valley so this particular post caught my eye. We love the film festival and agree that it is a worthwhile visit. Looking forward to tomorrow’s suggestions. We are in Europe right now – check out our blog updates on that fantastic trip. http://www.topochinesvino.com. You can also catch up on our older entries about Napa, Sonoma, and most recently, Oregon wine country.
